Strawberry Days...Strawberries and Creme
Pleasant Grove has been my home my whole life. Ok, except the 1/2 year I spent in Orem, the 1 and 1/2 I spent in Georgia and the 2 years I spent in Provo. Other than that I have been able to call no other city but Pleasant Grove my own. Seriously, peaople may call me sheltered, but I love my Pleasant Grove home. I actually lived in a house really close to the Artic Circle but when I was 1 we moved to the house I live in now which is home.
Every June 16-20 Pleasant Grove celebrates it's birth I guess you could say. As it is named Straberry Days: Here is a really cool history article I found about my city if you want to read it: http://www.media.utah.edu/UHE/p/PLEASANTGROVE.html the popular food item for this city celebration is the strawberries and creme. Every year they cell this delicious treat. My family and I are one of the many families and individuals that volunteer to run the booth. So that's a little back ground of these pictures. Ignore the fact that I look so evil in these pictures. I don't know why.
My sister Jennie and I having fun at the booth.
Yum! Strawberry heaven!
My mom (telling the picture taker: our friend Shaunee what to do), Jennie and I with my dad in the background working hard.
