Last night I was coming home from my cousin's home in Alpine.  A deer popped out in from of me from my right side.  I saw it and thought it was going to run back the way it came.  But it didn't.  I slambed on my breaks.  The deer looked at me and BANG!  I hat hit the deer.  I screamed.  I drove a bit down the block called my parents.  My mom answered the phone and I started bawling and shaking.  She and my dad drove to me to asses the damage. 
A broken blinker light and some dents on the right side above the passanger wheel. 
We drove to where I hit the deer to try and find it but to no avail.  I am pretty surprised actually because I thought I had killed it.  We found the glass from my light.  I figured when I hit the deer the momentum from my car and the angle spun the deer around and the she ran off. 

Mom has been very helpful in calling the insurance and I will be hearing from them soon.  Luckily it is in my favor as it wasn't my fault. 

This morning I am a little stiff in my neck and still have a bit of left over anxiety but I am doing OK.

That was my adventure of the literel terms of "deer in the headlights," "damn deer," and "oh deer."
