One More Week

Well, tomorrow is the official ward split. It will be interesting to see what happens. Well, we know what is going to happen, but as far as the bounderies and stuff. The Garden Stake is coming to join our ward in the information getting. I don't know exactly how their stake is envolved with this split but apparently they are.
So, today I got my binder and keys and stuff. It's getting down to the wire. I am actually getting pretty excited. In fact, I spent most of the afternoon coming up with diferent templates to print out for meetings and conducting and birthday litsts and things like that. This will definantly be an interesting adventure. I have so many things that I want to do. I am sure I will probably have times that I will be extreamly stressed and not want to do it any more, but I am not worried about that right now. I am looking forward to bettering the Battle Creek 11th ward Relief Society. It will be fun to get to know the girls......women of my ward better. I am actually pretty relieved that the ward will be smaller. Not so much to worry about so that's good.
Tomorrow we are just having Sacrament Meeting. It was interesting last week in testimony meeting. A girl got up and shared her feelings of the Savior. She expressed that while we were sad and excited to have the ward splitting, we should not loose sight of the real reason why we go to church. That we should not forget the Lord and how important it is to focus on Him. I thought that was really cool because some of the focus has started to get on the actual split. Which is fine.
Anyway. I am sorry I haven't had pictures up here recently. I got a new memory card for my camera which works fine. The only problem is it won't read in my lap top. So, we'll have to see if I can either get it working or see if it will work on another computer so I can get some pictures on here. I do have some pictures of our last Pirate Pizza dress up night. Mind you I didn't dress. It was 70's theme this time. Next month well, actually at the end of this month will be Star Wars and I am actually planning on dressing up this time. I am using my friend's Star Wars Jedi outfit. Which will be interesting because he is very tall and I am very short, so we'll see how well it fits. I'll be sure to get lot's of pictures.
Anyway, well, that's all I have for today. It's kind of a blabber today, but hey, I don't have much else going on. I wish I did. Of course I'm not sure who actually reads this. But at least I can have the satisfaction of typing it. Especially when I am in the typing mood.....like tonight (if you couldn't tell).
