It's Happened...

The world will now officially come to an end.
Ok, just the Battle Creek 11th ward....ok may be not.
So, a few months ago...I believe in January the I was in an interview with the Bishop for something I don't remember what but he said something big involving me and the ward was coming my way. He said he couldn't say when or what but that something was coming.
I went in a few months later....March I believe to talk to him about working in the temple. Just something to do with my life. He again said that something was coming my way and that he would have to pray about the temple thing.
Then this past Tuesday he called my cell phone. I was upstairs so I didn't get it but I called him back (as my roommate and I were on our way to get dinner). He asked if I could come in to see him. We turned around and went to see him. (Just a side note my roommate is also his niece.
He informed me that our ward is being split and that he would like to extend the call of Relief Society Presidend to me! I of course accepted. Honestly I felt so right about it. I know it's where I am supposed to be right now. It will teach me a lot of things.
But I am also getting scared. Our ward will be smaller, but still. I am afraid of not pleasing the Lord. I am afriad of doing something wrong.
I texted my home teacher and asked him if he could come give me a blessing with his companion (I am so grateful for worthy hometeachers and that they are willing to come help me out. In fact they told me several times they have got my back. Love it. ;) ) My other home teacher couldn't make it but the one did with a guy in the ward and his friend and they gave me a very nice blessing. (In fact I think I will probably be able to sleep tonight!)
So, there you have it. This should be the start of an interesting journey.
