Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was fun. It was quiet and simple. We went to Grandma's ward to watch the primary children put on the Nativity Scene. The primary has done it every year since mom was little. When the program is done and everyone is leaving, the young men and women hand out brown paper bags full of taffy, peanuts, lemon drops, chocolate clusters and a few other types of candy. They also make sure an orange is in there.
After words, we picked up my grandma and brought her back to our house for dinner. It was fun. We watched (don't laugh) Christmas Eve On Sesame Street. It's hilarious. We try to watch it every year. Then Grandma told us some stories of when she was little. That was really fun.
Then, we opened our pajama pants. Then mom took Granny home and we then went to bed. The next morning we got up...ok, Dad and mom came and got Jenn and I up. We went downstairs and enjoyed wrapping presents. Around 12:45pm we headed up to Granny's and had a nice Christmas lunch. The rest of the day we just chilled. We set up our new HDTV. It's 46 inches I think. I don't know it's a nice size. We watched Harry Potter VI and of course A Christmas Story.
Dad showing me how to work my new phone. (Notice the pajama pants that mom made! Also don't mind my double chin...and my stomach.)

Dad playing Santa.

Playing with my new iPhone that "Santa" brought me.

Chilling on Christmas morning after opening the gifts.

We all love watching my cousin's baby. She is so entertaining!

A few things that I got:
iPhone
Elipticle
Candy
Highgene products
iTune gift card

Jennie got a really nice camera for Christmas and I got the pictures from her (thanks Jenn!)

May we all remember the "reason for the season!" That is Christ our Lord. He who made it possible to enjoy these memories with our family and friends forever. He who lived and died that we may live again.
