Mission Memories.....
So, I went downstairs and found my mission tape. I got listening to it and looking at pictures. My friend Colby is going to the MTC tomorrow. Just a load of memories came flooding in. I decided to write some memories and some things that I learned from my mission.
The thing I miss the most on my mission is of course the people. I miss the good people of the south. I miss the elders and sisters. But, times roll on. But it's still fun to look back. As I listen to the people that I taught I wonder where they are. I think, "hum, I should write some of them." but sadly I never do. But may be this'll give me some motivation.
Actually some memories that just came to my mind are we were in church one Sunday. There was a lady sitting with her head on the pew. We started the meeting and out of the blue she started yelling some jibberish. She did that a couple of times. Finally I think she stepped out. It was just totally random.
Christmas time was really fun. The 2nd one was the most memorable for me I think. We went to a part member family called the Fallis's. They gave both my companions and I build a bears. Which I still have. Mine's name is Barabas Thom. I love the Fallis's. I remember going pretty much every P-day to Value Village. That is a step up from DI. It's kinda like Ross.
Some other places I remember going to is Brewsters. That's a really good ice-cream place. I remember the Varsity. Oh they had the best fries and the best orange drink thing. Yum.
Oh how I miss Georgia.
Sister Cool was a fun lady. We would go to her house at least once a week. She was a semi-active member. She had a word of wisdom problem. Her house was full of smoke it was bad. But it was fun to visit her.
There are so many members and even investigaters that are in my mind right now.
Again the Fallis's with their mountain and mountains of books in their house. Every room that wasn't used to live in was boxes of books. It was hilarious.
Cockroaches every where.
So yeah. Sorry if this is kinda a choppy entry. I'm listening to my tape while I'm typing so I'm getting distracted.
