Alpine Day 2013

I dunno if anyone still reads this or not but this year at Alpine Day was one of mixed emotion.   It was tough with D being gone but I enjoyed the company of my Carter family and Jex family and friends.

Here is a run down of events for this year

Arrive around 7:30 pm
sit around and visit while eating pizza
watch Duck Dynasty on projector

Sleepish on fold out bed in gran's living room

Saturday
Wake up around 8:30 am (no "bombs this year. ... sadness)

Eat breakfast
watch parade around 10:00
go over to Jex's
go back to Carters for a bit
go with Jex's to D grave
go back to Carter for sloppy Joe
water slide set up
Have dinner
pack up stuff, head home

it was a fun day.   Got sunburned really bad.   Had a good time with family.
