"I Like To Move It Move It,"

So my cousin's post inspired me to blog about exercise and nutrition. I LOVE learning about these things. They interest me so much.
I have been trying to mix up my exercise to work different parts of my body. Some things I have been doing is Zumba (a really fun danceish workout), step aerobics (kicks my trash), jogging (of course), weight lifting (to tone the flab) and country dancing (I usually go just for the line dances, but when I get asked to dance which isn't very often, swing is really good exercise as well). I really do love to work out. I love the feeling after words of natural happiness.
As far as my eating, I haven't been doing the best this week I will admit. I think I eat the most when I am bored. Even though I have stuff to do at work I eat so much there because I get ansty being stuck in the same area for 7-8 hours. I guess I should just go take a walk around the parking lot every time I feel like snacking. Although I have been trying to eat healthier snacks. I have been eating Almonds, Carrots, Yogurt. I did by a box of those Little Debbie Cakes. Very bad I know. But I try to only have one package....but sometimes that doesn't work.

What do you like to do for exercise? I like my cousin encourage you to get up and move and try to eat healthier. The reason you gain wait is really not rocket sience. Let's say you go out to Wendy's and by a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. That will be about 470 calories. Not to mention fat and other things that add up on your body. Also not to mention you have friew and a Dr. Pepper with that.

Now, an average person should eat between 1900 and 2550 calories. Every one is different of course. But that is the average. Now, let's take that Chicken sandwhich add a medium fry and a medium (32 oz) Dr. Pepper: 470 calories+420 calories + 230 calories= 1120 calories total. That's just for one meal. I am only using this as an example of what I usually get at Wendy's. Now, if you add all of that plus everything else you eat during the day, that is more likely more than you should be consuming in a day. Not to mention if you don't exercise. If you don't exercise and eat like that then those calories are going to be building up on your arms, thighs and belly.

I am writing this mostly for myself, but I hope someone who reads this will gain some insite and realize how important it is to take care of our bodies! Myself definintly included!
