So, the world is pretty crazy right now. Everyone is irate (I can't spell) about this Prop 8 thing. I have been thinking a lot about that. Not really about the actual prop 8 but how everyone is getting irate about it and thinking the world is coming to an end. The more and more I think of it, the more I realize that it's not worth getting angry about. That's what Satan wants. He is trying to confuse people and it is working. My whole opinion on this is the judge is overruling the people's voted opinion. That's what bothers me. People voted on it, it was decided and now the government is overstepping it's power and vetoing it.

But despite all of that I still know the church is true. So many people are getting afraid that the end of the world is coming. Yes, the world is getting more and more wicked. Like I said, Satan is trying his hardest to get as many of God's children as he can. Our duty is to work and study hard to stay strong in the gospel.

I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I have felt the power of the Holy Ghost testify to me that this is true. I know that the purpose of this life is to gain experiences and learn how to become like our Heavenly Father. He wants us to be happy. He wants us to follow His Son Jesus Christ and endure the hardships of this life. I know we can endure the hardships. I know we can over come trials with the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know the priesthood is real. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the ONLY way back to our Heavenly Father no matter what us puny humans say. God is all powerful and knows what He is doing. He through His Son Jesus Christ set up Their church for our benifit. It is up to us what we do with it. It is up to us how we honor the commandments. That determins our happiness.
