Dr. Phil Observations...

Ok, ok. This is a lame thing to admit, but I was flipping through the stations and Dr. Phil was on. I don't watch Dr. Phil at all, but something on his show today was interesting me greatly. They were talking about infidelity in marriage. I just couldn't beleive how casual they were taking this subject. They had some authors of some books that were completly lame. They had a guy on there that was ok with cheating and so was the woman. The guy was saying that guys don't like short hair is not attractive on woman. That women who do not take care of themselves risk that chance of the guy cheating on them! What the junk? Retarted. I can understand that yes, may be guys will be a little more grateful for their wives who have taken time to do their hair and make up and junk. But why did they marry them in the first place? What is the point of dating if all supposedly men care about are the looks? According to this guy. The woman was saying that it's ok for woman to help married men have affairs becuase it helps the marriage! Ok, that does NOT make any sense to me. This episode was so lame. But it was interesting. I hope I don't make you guys stop reading my blog becuase of this entry, but I just found it so interesting I wanted to share. I am soooooo grateful for the gospel. If two people are living the gospel, then the marriage will be so so important to each of them. THEIR marriage. The TWO of them. As well as their covenant with the Savior. That's the point. When two people are married, yes, they make a covenant with each other, but they also make the most important covenant with Heavenly Father and the Savior. As long as that is in the minds of both the wife and the husband, all this worldly opinions of marriage and cheating and junk can go fart on their heads! I just found this episode VERY interesting. I just shook my head most of the time. There were several people in the audience who thought infidelity was very bad and go them! I just respect those of you who are married and who plan to be married who love the gospel and who keep your covenants with all of your mights. Thank you for being such great examples of stying true to the gospel and holding on with all of your might. Even though you might not have any money, even though you may think (to those who are married) man, what did I get myself into?, thank you all for living the gospel and being a great example to me!!
