5k Race

So, I don't have any pictures yet, but today my friend Mallory and I ran a 5K. I finished in 50 minutes and I think 15 seconds or something like that. I'm actually disappointed in my time, but I did jog the whole time. I have learned a few things from this race: I need to loose 20 pounts, no energy shots, and I don't do well running in cold weather. I am determined to be in better shape. I enjoyed the race, but seriously I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I really liked the tape they gave us. It was the same tape that Kerry Walsh used in the olympics...well, I'm sure a lot of olympians use it and I can't remember what it's called...but I loved it. My knees didn't hurt at all until after I took the tape off. But it's something to work towards. Oh a little FYI I learned today: Humans are not made for marathons! It's infact very unhealthy to run marathons. I have to do some more research.
