Getting Into Shape

So, this week I have decided to exercise more. In fact, my goal is to run at least 30 minutes every day. If not running, then some sort of aerobic exercise. I am planning on running at least two 5K races this year. One coming up in April if I ever get registered. I want to be able to run these races having the face of the first little guy and not the 2nd little guy's face. I want to be may be out of breath and tired, but not to the point that I want to die of exaustion. I am so determined to make this goal. I believe exercise is a great way to loose wieght. Plus, it makes you feel better. You get to loosen things up. Sure, you may be tired afterwords, but you're more alert.


My next goal this week is to be better at my eating. I went to two fast food places this past week. That is not good. Sure, going out to eat once in a while is fine. In fact, two of my favorite fast food places are Hogi Yogi and the Pita Pit. Let's just say I didn't choose either of those as the two that I went to. One thing that I am learning is that eating healthy makes me feel better as well. I knew that before, but I haven't really noticed it was true until this past year. I ate a lot of Valentine cookies this week and snacked a lot at work. I guess I snack when I get bored or antsy. However, when I snack and eat all that junk, I feel like junk. Imagine that! Have you noticed that? When you eat junk you just get tired, onry, lazy and just plain old don't feel good. At least I do. May be no one would admit it. I especially feel that today. I feel junky and bloated and tired and lazy. I know if we would eat right and exerice at least take a walk around the block a few times, you would feel so much better. I know I do. So, those are my goals for this week. I don't know why I wrote this down, but I did.

PLEASE come jogging with me on tuesday night!!! i go a 8:30 or so. i NEED NEED your help. i can only run 2.5 times around the track with out stopping and that is only half a mile. and even that takes me about 5 min!!! I REALLY need you there pushing me!! PLEASE come with me!! even if we just run out side or something that would be cool too. maybe we could run around that cemitary by your house. anyway.. i REALLY need your help. i am REALLY getting scared for this 5k because i dont think i will be ready!! HELP HELP!!!!
